The Removable Stainless Steel & Glass Door works on a pin and barrel welded hinge to increase its strength and durability. It also has a leak-proof silicone seal that becomes pressurized when the locking arm is set into place. The locking arm is set near the door and takes mild pressure (about 1 pound of force) to push it down into place.
